Karim Sarkis
Executive Director of Radio and Television, Abu Dhabi Media Company
Karim Sarkis joined ADMC in 2007. In his new capacity, Sarkis is responsible for managing all ADMC’s television channels & Radio stations.
Prior to joining ADMC, Sarkis was the founder of a media consulting company serving the broadcast industry.
From 2005 to 2007 he served as Deputy Head of Broadcast for the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC), where he was responsible for six television channels, including the market leader within Lebanon LBCI and free-to-air satellite channel, LBC SAT.
At LBC SAT, Sarkis had direct responsibility for the programming, acquisition, promotion, graphics and library functions.
Sarkis began his career in management consulting, focusing on the intersection of strategy and technology with Booz Allen Hamilton and Arthur D. Little. Sarkis was also a director with a consumer-targeted internet company in the UK for two years.
Sarkis has lived and worked in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, UAE and the United Kingdom. He received his Masters of Engineering degree from Imperial College in the United Kingdom. |
