H.E Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh

As Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Media, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh brings his experience from sitting on the boards of many influential private and public institutions to the successful operation of the company.

He is Chairman of Aldar Properties, a leading real estate developer in Abu Dhabi. He is also CEO of Dolphin Energy Limited, a unique strategic energy initiative involving the production, processing and transportation of natural gas from Qatar to the UAE and Oman. He is Chairman of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (MASDAR), having supported many environmental initiatives in Abu Dhabi throughout his working career, and managing director of the Emirates Foundation, a leading philanthropic organization for social education, artistic and environmental development in the UAE.

He is also a board member of numerous influential private and government institutions including First Gulf Bank, Mubadala Development Company and Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC). He started his career at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), the national oil company of Abu Dhabi.

He has also occupied senior positions in other leading Abu Dhabi Government organizations, including the Abu Dhabi Investment Company (ADIC).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Lewis and Clark College in the USA.
