H.E Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi
H.E. Al Muhairi has been instrumental in Abu Dhabi’s evolution into an international tourism destination of distinction since the creation of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) in 2004. Working closely with the Authority’s Chairman, H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, he has helped both steer Abu Dhabi into an award-winning destination and its tourism industry build credibility in the international arena.

As Managing Director of TDIC – the organization which develops ADTA’s tourism assets – he has been closely involved in the creation of the Saadiyat Island Cultural District, which will be home to the world’s largest single concentration of premier cultural institutions, including the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
H.E. Al Muhairi also serves on the board of Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, which owns the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre – the Arabian Gulf’s largest and most modern exhibitions and conference complex – and the multi-award-winning ExCel London. He is also a member of the boards of Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, Abu Dhabi Airports Company and the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage.
He completed his studies in civil engineering at UAE University in 1992 and has a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Portland State University, USA.
